How it all began

Francisco and Ulyssa met in August of 2019 while attending the University of the Incarnate Word, where they were both studying to become graphic designers. What started as a simple friendship quickly became something neither of them expected. They spent their days working on projects together, having lunch between classes, and walking to and from their different classes across campus.

After a couple of months, they began spending more time together outside of school, and that’s when their friendship naturally turned into something much deeper. On October 5, 2019, Francisco asked Ulyssa to be his girlfriend, and they’ve been building a life full of love and memories ever since.

Over the years, their relationship has grown through every season—sitting next to each other in class every day and, at times, being four hours apart for months at a time. While long distance isn’t easy, it only strengthened their bond. They learned new ways to communicate, support one another, and build a loving, trusting relationship no matter how many miles were between them.

After graduating, Francisco began his job in Grapevine, TX, bringing them just 40 minutes apart (depending on Dallas traffic!). Being closer has allowed them to create more memories together while still cherishing the ones that shaped them.
